Long before Paramount Wealth Group existed, JP and Lindsey faced a moment that would reshape the rest of their lives. Seven years ago, an F-250 traveling 65 miles an hour collided with their vehicle, leaving JP with a broken neck and back and the devastating diagnosis of quadriplegia. “I didn’t know how to take it,” he recalls. “I thought they were talking about somebody else.” For days afterward, he carried the weight of the long-term prognosis alone, unsure how to share it with Lindsey as she lay in her own hospital bed asking the questions so many of us ask in our darkest hours.
Why did you keep me here? What is the future going to hold?
With three young daughters at home — Finley, Tatum, and Sloane — and a body that wouldn’t cooperate, Lindsey looked up and asked God for a sign. Show me you’re here. Show me you’re with us.
After fifty days of fighting to move, she felt drawn to church. What she found there was an invitation she couldn’t ignore. Watching a live baptism unfold on stage, she turned to JP and said simply, “I don’t have anything left in me.” She wanted to come up from the water a new person. And she did. Twenty-one days later, her left arm twitched for the first time.
From that moment, recovery became a daily discipline grounded in faith. “I know that God allowed this to happen, not to hurt our family, but so that I could be a minister to other people around me,” Lindsey says. Today, that same compassion and resilience shape the firm she and JP built together. Lindsey leads our Client Experience Program, ensuring every individual we serve feels genuinely cared for as they walk the Paramount Pathway™, while JP guides the vision that drives everything we do.
